Eastlake baseball shuts out Juanita in no-hitter win
Eastlake High School
Boys (4-1):
Eastlake 9, Juanita 0 (May 25)
The varsity Wolves followed the junior varsity team’s no hitter with one of their own. Junior Bryce Johnson struck out 11 Juanita hitters and let just one ball leave the infield on the night. The Wolves crushed two more homers led by team home run leader and freshman Grady Woodward. Senior Jared Johnson added his first home run of the season, and junior Noah Weintraub collected two more hits to add to his season total.

The Wolves get a second chance against Juanita on Thursday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m.

Boys (8-0):
Eastside Catholic 5, Garfield 0 (May 24)
Eastside Catholic will play Seattle Prep on Thursday, May 27 at 3:30 p.m.
Girls (3-2):
Eastside Catholic 6, Ballard 21 (May 24)
Junior Allie Upton pitched six innings throwing 122 pitches for 69 total strikes for the game against Ballard. She was relieved in the seventh inning by junior Claire Murawski, but the Crusaders never managed to gain any traction. Despite consistent hitting from the team with seven hits, the Crusaders fell with a final of 21-6. Eastside Catholic will take on Roosevelt at home Thursday, May 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Skyline High School
Boys (2-2):
Skyline 8, Issaquah 4 (May 24)
Skyline will play Hazen next on Friday, May 28 at 7:15 p.m.
Girls (2-2):
Skyline 4, Issaquah 0 (May 24)
The Spartans face Liberty on Wednesday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m.
