Eastlake baseball squeezes by Juanita to reach 5-1 record

Three pitchers (Matthew Thompson, Ben Wiljanen and Will Woodward) combined to allow only 5 hits over 7 innings. Will Woodward picked up the win as the local nine pushed three runs across the plate in the bottom of the 7th inning to walk off the Ravens. Sophomore Blake Borup picked up two hits on the night, including the game winning single to score two.

It was a tough night for Crusaders pitchers as both Mary Powell and Claire Murawski allowed Roosevelt 8 and 10 runs, respectively. On batting, Claire Murawski and Allie Upton both went 2 for 4. In the bottom of the 7th inning, Murawski did steal some spotlight by hitting a home run.
