Skyline won against Davis on March 1, but subsequently lost against Federal Way and Camas, and were eliminated from the tournament.
Despite a slow second quarter, the Skyline Spartans managed to dominate last Saturday’s game.
The Lady Wolves won 53-22 at the Friday game.
Eastlake’s success has been due in large part to Coach Seth Miller and his ability to recruit and train wrestling talent.
The next day, the Lady Wolves lost in the championship game to Woodinville.
The Spartans are now ranked third in Washington state based on the Ratings Power Index. Their next playoff game is Saturday, Feb. 4 against Mt. Si.
Eastlake finishes regular season atop the KingCo-Crest league with a 16-4 overall record.
The Lady Wolves won 60-40 at last Wednesday’s game.
Both teams were undefeated yet this season, but Skyline triumphed 62-58 at the Friday game.
